Condenser Repair with Removal

As is known, during long-term operation of a heat exchanger, the valve body and pipes begin to corrode and deteriorate. Over time, the heat transfer surface becomes contaminated, and the cooling efficiency decreases. To eliminate these issues, specialists from Global Container Service will dismantle and repair condensers. The process includes the following steps:

• Adjustment of the control cabinet;
• Elimination of refrigerant, water, and working fluid flow;
• Cleaning all surfaces from contamination;
• Inspection and installation of the shut-off valve;
• Application of anti-corrosion measures;
• Checking tightness and structural strength.

In general, the maintenance cycle structure depends on the type of production unit. Diagnostics should be carried out regularly to prevent serious issues. There are two types of maintenance work: scheduled maintenance and frequent maintenance. The latter includes inspection and tightening of flange connections, servicing of gland seals, and checking all control systems of fan belts that clean the condenser channel.
