Many years of experience in training reefer mechanics
Thanks to extensive experience in the sale and maintenance of refrigerated containers in Ukraine, a huge amount of knowledge has been accumulated that the company sought to share.
Daikin became the driving force that launched our project and held the first seminar for reefer mechanics of Ukraine at the base of our training and simulation center.
But in order to train specialists at GLOBAL CONTAINER SERVICE at a proper level, we needed to obtain a certificate.

The success of the Daikin training center became known during an evening dedicated to the 50th birthday, where the leaders surprised GCS with a gift: a new ZESTIA unit, Daikin's flagship model.

Key Areas of Specialist Training
We spent a full four months collecting documents and equipment and developing training programs that comply with international BUREAU VERITAS standards in the following areas:
- training seafarers for servicing refrigerated containers from manufacturers Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin, and Star Cool on board ships;
- training for the operation of refrigerated containers for stationary storage.
We received the long-awaited ISO9001:2015 certificates and immediately held training sessions for our first students from CMA-CGM.
There were only two of them. But for us, this marked the beginning of the center's work. To date, we have trained more than 200 seafarers for companies such as MSC and CMA-CGM, and we do not plan to stop there.
