Modernization of tank containers is a set of engineering works aimed at expanding functionality, improving safety, or adapting the containers for new tasks.

For example, to operate a tank container under extreme temperatures, a heating or cooling system is installed, and when switching to the transportation of chemical cargo — additional safety devices are installed and the discharge fittings are upgraded.

What Tank Container модернизация Includes
GCS carries out modernization of tank containers of types T4, T7, T10, T11, T14, T20, and T50.
Tank container modernization includes the following types of work:
- manufacturing and installation of vertical and horizontal baffles (bulkheads);
- changing the discharge type (from bottom to top and vice versa) for chemical cargo;
- installation of safety devices (rupture discs, flame arrestor meshes);
- installation of heating or cooling systems when converting for storage and transportation of chemical and food cargo;
- retrofitting containers with remote control systems and measuring instruments (thermometers, pressure gauges, level gauges);
- installation of walkways, ladders, railings, protective screens, and other additional equipment.
The technical base of GCS allows for comprehensive reconstruction and, if necessary, — tank container repair. A 6-month warranty is provided for the work. After modernization, tank containers undergo inspection with the issuance of authorization documents — this guarantees that the converted container meets international safety standards and can perform new functions. If required, a container storage service is available at a specialized depot.
