The 20-foot container consists of a durable metal frame made of high-alloy Corten steel with an anti-corrosion coating. The wall and ceiling cladding is made of profiled metal, and the floor is made of 28 mm thick moisture-resistant plywood impregnated with special protective compounds. The container's double-leaf doors open to the full width of the opening for easy loading and unloading of goods. The design also includes fittings for securing cargo during transportation and pocket slots for loading and unloading operations using a forklift.
The 20-foot shipping container is intended for transporting and storing goods that do not require maintaining a specific temperature. For perishable products, pharmaceutical goods, and other temperature-sensitive cargo, reefers or 20-foot thermal containers (or other sizes) are used, which allow maintaining the desired temperature during transport and storage.
20-foot container: advantages
20-foot containers are considered the most in-demand equipment in international logistics and warehousing. Their key advantages:

- Versatility — suitable for use as cargo packaging and for conversion into modular spaces;
- Safety — the welded, sealed structure made of high-strength steel protects the contents from moisture, corrosion, and break-ins;
- Capacity — a 20-ton container can transport various types of cargo, including oversized items such as cars;
- Convenience — the dimensions allow a 20-foot container to be placed in small storage areas.
The 20-foot container is suitable for transporting industrial equipment, construction materials, furniture, raw materials, palletized goods, household appliances, and packaged products. Standardized dimensions according to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) allow container blocks to be stacked in several tiers for convenient sea transport.
If temporary use or cost optimization is needed, renting a 20-foot container can be a rational solution, avoiding capital investment and allowing flexible management of logistics tasks.
