Tank container service begins with inspection and defect assessment. At this stage, the completeness of the tank container is first checked, followed by a detailed inspection of all its components, including the condition of the frame, ladder/walkways, shut-off and control valves, filling equipment, thermal insulation, and tank tightness. A visual inspection of the internal surface of the tank is also carried out, along with checking the operation of valves, pressure gauges, plugs, and connections.
After a detailed inspection of all tank container components, the client is provided with a defect report listing the required work and consumables. Upon its approval, tank container washing is performed to ensure safe and proper handling of components, as well as internal cleaning using chemical agents if necessary.
If required, specialists perform partial or major repairs of the tank container. Depending on the condition of the tank, this may include: gasket replacement, ladder repair, restoration of the outer cladding, replacement of filling and shut-off valves, frame repair, elimination of body deformations, painting, welding works, polishing of the internal tank walls, leak elimination, restoration of tank tightness, and repair of mounted and removable equipment.
