Танк-контейнер Т7 (tank-container T7) — is a standardized ISO container designed for the storage and multimodal transport of liquid cargoes, including food products, petrochemical products, and certain types of hazardous substances, by sea, rail, and road, at an operating pressure of 1.77–2.65 bar.
The T7 tank allows the transport and storage of vegetable oils, alcohols, juices, molasses, syrups, diesel fuel, gasoline, solvents, as well as some chemical reagents and liquid hazardous goods, provided they comply with the requirements of ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) and the container's technical specifications.
Technical characteristics of T7 tank containers
Structurally, the T7 tank container consists of an AISI 316 stainless steel tank with a thickness of 4.8 mm (in terms of strength characteristics, equivalent to approximately 6 mm of carbon steel), rigidly fixed at the ends within a rectangular ISO standard frame (20 ft). Liquids are loaded through a top manhole with a diameter of 500 mm, and unloaded through a bottom discharge with a three-stage protection system.
A service platform and ladder are provided for access to pressure gauges, safety valves, and other equipment.
If necessary, the container can be equipped with thermal insulation based on mineral or fiberglass materials and an external protective covering.
