Installation of units

Global Container Service offers a wide range of refrigeration units from leading manufacturers ThermoKing, Carrier, Daikin, and StarCool. We have a strong team that has been successfully operating for over six years. The engineers and reefer mechanics of GCS are experts in refrigeration equipment. They perform service work including replacement of spare parts, compressors, and refrigeration units. For deep freezing, they install more than five refrigeration units per container to increase capacity.

After installing all units, Global Container Service reefer mechanics charge the system with R-134a refrigerant and connect it to the electrical network via a protective circuit breaker using a 12-meter cable.

To maintain optimal temperature inside a reefer container, forced air circulation is required. Warm air is drawn from the top, passes through the refrigeration unit, and is then distributed through the lower channels before rising again. If six refrigeration units are installed on all sides of the container, cargo cools faster and maintains temperature longer during short transports. For long-distance transport, a diesel generator is required. At GCS, you can also rent it here if needed.
