Pre-sale preparation
The company “Global Container Service” carries out pre-sale preparation of refrigeration equipment.
This is enormous work that includes an external inspection of the reefer container and computer diagnostics.
As is well known, before a sale is made, specialists of “Global Container Service” are required to perform maintenance and a series of repair works. The external inspection includes detecting corrosion, various damages, and checking the side walls and roof for dents, holes, and gouges.
The lower internal part of the container is also inspected. It is equally important that the seals of the control unit and the cover are in proper condition.
Submit an applicationAfter the internal and external inspection, the reefer technicians of “Global Container Service” proceed to diagnostics of the spare parts. The refrigeration unit is tested for the absence of corrosion and damage. The compressor mountings and all pipes are checked. Great attention is paid to the wiring: the defrost heater is tested. Finally, an inspection for oil and refrigerant leaks is carried out. If everything is within normal limits, the technicians proceed to the next stage — inspection of the electrical components. In the event of even the slightest malfunction, repair work is carried out to eliminate it.
Inspection of the electrical components
Specialists diagnose relays and starters, fuses, and circuit breakers. Terminal connections are checked (they must be clean, properly crimped, and all terminals neatly arranged).
The third stage of pre-sale preparation is the operational check of the refrigeration unit. The supplied voltage must be within 460/380 volts and 60/50 hertz. The phase sequence mechanism, fans, refrigerant charge, and compressor oil level are checked. Specialists examine the current consumption by the condenser fans under full or partial load at different speeds, the compressor oil level, and the refrigerant charge.
