"GLOBAL CONTAINER SERVICE" Training and Simulation Center

On the basis of GLOBAL CONTAINER SERVICE LLC, a “Training and Simulation Center” has been opened for obtaining / improving the level of knowledge of trainees in servicing refrigerated containers on board a vessel.

• “Servicing refrigerated containers under the extended program”;
• “Servicing refrigerated containers under the shortened program”.

Objectives of the training courses

Training is conducted under two training programs:

The training course “Servicing refrigerated containers under the shortened program”

is aimed at acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the servicing of refrigerated containers from global manufacturers such as Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin, StarCool. During the training, you will gain practical experience in working with refrigerated containers in accordance with international safety standards and servicing rules.

The training course “Servicing refrigerated containers under the extended program”

is aimed at acquiring the skills necessary for servicing, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, as well as gaining practical experience in accordance with international safety standards and rules for servicing and repairing refrigerated containers from manufacturers Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin, StarCool.

Duration of the training course

“Servicing refrigerated containers under the shortened program”

The training course consists of 14.0 hours, of which 8.75 hours are lecture sessions, 4.75 hours are practical sessions, and 0.5 hours are final assessment. The program includes 10 sections covering all topics of the training course. Training is conducted over 2 days, from 9:00 to 17:00, with a lunch break.

“Servicing refrigerated containers under the extended program”

The training course consists of 27.5 hours, of which 16.5 hours are lecture sessions, 10 hours are practical sessions, and 1 hour is final assessment. The program includes 15 sections covering all topics of the training course. Training is conducted over 4 days, from 9:00 to 17:00, with a lunch break.

Upon successful completion of the training courses, trainees receive a certificate of course completion in Ukrainian and English.

For the training of trainees, the simulation complex includes:

1. A set of refrigeration units from leading global manufacturers of refrigerated containers and related equipment:

• Carrier: Thinline, EliteLine;
• Thermo King: CRR40, Magnum;
• Daikin: LXE10E;
• StarCool: SCU40.

2. A lecture hall with 25 seats.

3. A cloakroom with individual lockers.

4. A training yard for practical sessions.
